Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Apparel Technical Designer. Responsibilities include interpreting and executing design vision; developing, managing and creating patterns and tech packages for required product types utilizing Gerber software systems (YuniquePLM, AccuMark); managing and approving fit development; conducting fittings; problem solving issues related to fit and quality; managing workflow to meet calendar timelines; and working independently and coopearatively with cross-functional teams, along with vendors and factories.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or Certification in Patternmaking/Apparel Manufacturing
• In-depth knowledge of patternmaking, specific to male and female apparel, with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in the development of tech packages
• Ability to lead fit sessions using live model/body form to assess fit, garment construction, proportion and overall styling of garments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

• Proven experience with Gerber software (YuniquePLM, WebPDM, AccuMark)
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
