Position Summary

Position assists with the day to day supervisory responsibilities for clinical office staff, which provide clerical/clinical support for department/division.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with supervisory clerical/clinical staff, including efficient workflow and adequate coverage.
  • Ensures equipment is maintained adequately.
  • Requests and monitors medical and clerical supplies.
  • Assists with interviewing, screening applicants and orients new staff.
  • Prepares various schedules, literature searches and requests journal articles and retrieves books for physicians.
  • Arranges meetings and assists with maintaining office policies.
  • Performs secretarial duties, such as typing, medical transcription, filing, and routing telephone calls.
  • Schedules patient appointments when needed.
  • May assist with budgets or reporting.
  • Assists with evaluations, recommendations and or disciplinary actions for personnel supervised.

Salary Range

$19.21 - $28.85 / Hourly
