Job Description

We're looking for a talented Certified Coding Specialist to join our revenue cycle team in Phoenix, AZ. This hybrid position offers the perfect balance of remote and in-office work, allowing you to enjoy flexibility and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
Process medical claims accurately through our EMR system, applying your expertise in CPT and ICD codes.
Research, analyze, and resolve data entry errors using EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Consolidate and verify information for revenue cycle analysis, ensuring smooth operations.
Test system updates related to revenue cycle processes and provide valuable feedback.
Serve as a resource for resolving complex issues and challenges.
Train new providers, staff, and coders to ensure team members are well-prepared and supported.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and prevent denials.
Perform regular coding reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in multi-specialty coding.
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
Valid and active Certified Coding (CPC) certification is required.
High School Diploma or GED.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
