Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Security SecDevOps Engineer Location: NYC or Alpharetta, GA (Onsite 3 days a week)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform Security SecDevOps Engineer to strengthen our security practices within our Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and operations teams to seamlessly integrate security into our DevOps pipeline, ensuring robust security measures for cloud-native applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate security best practices within the DevOps pipeline to enhance application and infrastructure security on Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage secure cloud-native applications.
• Develop and implement automated security controls, threat detection, and incident response mechanisms.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation on the Google Cloud Platform environment.
• Provide guidance on secure coding practices and security monitoring across the DevOps lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, with expertise in Google Cloud Platform and SecDevOps.
• Strong understanding of security principles, cloud-native security tools, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and security orchestration in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and other security automation tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are a plus.
