Education/Certification: High School diploma
Technology industry certifications beneficial but not required.
Familiarity & understanding of the functions of basic computer hardware and software, along with having knowledge of basic troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative attitude are a must.
Software Administration:
Assist with inventory of all available software.
Assist with installation of software where needed and provide information, assistance and training to users (staff and students) for incorporation into instruction.
Assist teachers with the implementation of adopted district software.
Hardware Administration:
Assist with record keeping function of hardware locations, quantities, types and required repairs.
Set up and configure computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, etc.
Assist with maintenance of all equipment.
Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise.
Ensure all software and hardware is up-to-date and install updates as required.
Perform routine preventative maintenance to avoid system outages and failures.
Assist with managing, troubleshooting and repairing of Chromebooks, iPads, document cameras, projectors and other general office equipment.
Other Duties:
Attend regional training/informational sessions on technological advances.
Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, lift ~ 50 lbs.
Other duties as assigned by the Technology Director, District Administration or designee.
