Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing project costs and determining the economic feasibility of construction projects, ensuring accuracy in budgeting and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate project specifications.
• Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations to mitigate potential cost overruns.
• Review and evaluate bids from contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors for accurate pricing and work quality.
• Monitor project changes and adjustments to ensure estimates reflect current project scope.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably with electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and materials.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
