Job Description
We are currently seeking a Junior Projects Operation Manager for a hybrid role based in San Antonio, TX (1-2 days per week onsite). In this role, you'll support the operations and product delivery of multiple projects within a significant U.S. Air Force human resource management IT portfolio. Key Responsibilities for the Junior Projects Operation Manager
Oversee Capability Development Teams using Atlassian tools to ensure alignment with project goals.
Support day-to-day operational management for Capability Development Teams by providing guidance and streamlining processes.
Document, maintain, and enhance systems and processes to ensure they are adaptable and resilient.
Coordinate unique Salesforce development activities across remote team members.
Analyze portfolio processes to identify opportunities for innovation and increased automation.
Engage with stakeholders from various organizations to ensure the successful delivery of capabilities.
Lead and manage a team of 25+ professionals, including developers, analysts, testers, system administrators, database administrators, and configuration managers.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant project management or operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
CAPM or PMP Certification.
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Experience with issue triage, analytics, and reporting, such as after-action reports and lessons learned.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools (O365, Teams, SharePoint) with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Scrum Master Certification.
Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) and industry software development life cycles for technologies like Oracle EBS, .NET, and Java.
Experience with software development and knowledge management tools (preferably Atlassian).
Knowledge of standard testing cycles and test management tools, especially ALM Octane.
Experience with DoD environments, ideally supporting the U.S. Air Force.
Security Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
