Job Description

Description Lead corrective action on manufacturing and create corrective action plans through end of project Drives a strategic mindset and commitment to continuous improvement across the operation (i.e. defines improvement goals, establishes accountability through SQDRC metrics, uses Lean/Six Sigma tools and techniques to continually improve processes and business results, and establishes a mindset within operations to document and control processes; promotes safety and housekeeping; uses facilitative leadership). Assembles, analyzes, and monitors appropriate company and customer metrics and implements improvements for the performance of Quality. Leads and mentors advance quality planning processes. Examples include Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)/First Article Inspection (FAI), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) processes. (May be performed by CQE at some sites.) Acts as the customer liaison/advocate for Woodward compliance to customer quality requirements and customer satisfaction relative to quality of products and services.
