Job Description

Role for a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys varied and full life-cycle work. That means cradle to grave projects for a variety of different products and processes. Engineers love this team. The position would support multiple commercial and consumer product lines, including custom product work. You’d work with a wide range of materials and production processes, and products can have lots of components. Manufacturing processes can be related to assembly, sheet metal or injection molded plastic fabrication, parts that need to be machined, extruded, welded, and more. Learn about and support all of them. Get involved with new product introduction, capital projects, process design, and production support. You aren’t pigeonholed into just one. The manager is great, no micromanagement and excellent work / life balance with a solid team of pros to collaborate with.

Salary target of $80-105K, excellent benefits.

REQUIRED:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• BS Degree in an engineering or technical discipline
• Strong technical problem-solving skills. Ability to dig into production processes and equipment challenges to understand technical problems and implement solutions.
• Project Engineering, Project Management, or Project Leadership skills. This is not a pure PM role, but this person will get to track and drive work at the project level.
• Excellent communication skills

DESIRED:

• Light Assembly experience, and experience supporting production of products that have a large number of components / parts.
• Experience supporting products that a high mix of different materials
• Experience with sheet metal and basic metal forming, cutting, punching, etc., is helpful, as is exposure to working with plastic injection molded parts
• Controls and Automation skills
