We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join our team at Jay Auto Buick GMC in Bedford, Ohio. As a Parts Manager, you will play a crucial role in running our profitable and efficient parts department. • Develop and execute strategies to achieve goals and objectives for the parts department
• Ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for warranty and customer pay jobs
• Maintain proper inventory control and ensure availability of parts and accessories for resale
• Establish and enforce purchasing policies, including purchase orders and inventory guide figures
• Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
• Provide technical assistance and support to parts department employees
• Direct and schedule the activities of all parts department employees
• Collaborate with the service manager and service director to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting parts sales
• Implement training and development programs for department employees
• Ensure maximum customer satisfaction by establishing and enforcing customer guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience as a Parts Manager in an automotive dealership or wholesale parts department
• Minimum of two years of management experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license
