Job Title: Phlebotomist II - CantonJob Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team in Canton. The ideal candidate will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry of patient information. The role also includes preparing specimens for testing, maintaining logs, and providing superior customer service to all patients. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Accurately enter patient information in a timely manner. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Essential Skills At least 2+ years of phlebotomy experience (5+ years preferred). Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary techniques. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Work Environment This position is based at PSC Canton - 134 Riverstone Terrace, Canton, Georgia. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. There is an additional need for a floater and contractor on FMLA. The work environment is supportive and provides opportunities for continued growth within the organization.
