The Pool Maintenance Technician maintains client pools on a weekly basis. This includes checking and maintaining water chemistry, cleaning the pool, and performing basic equipment checks. This is a contract position for an initial term of three (3) months. After the initial three (3) month contract expires, the contract may be renewed for ongoing work based on the contractor's performance.
Note: If a given route is not full yet, this might be a part-time position to begin with until the route gets full. Contact us for more details.
A high school degree, trade school degree, or the equivalent is required for this position.
You must be clean-cut and in good physical condition.
This position requires one (1) year full-time or part-time pool cleaning experience.
You will need a reliable vehicle to travel to your stops, and you will need your own pool cleaning equipment.
We offer higher rates of pay the longer your contract lasts. We start you off at 40% of all revenue earned on your assigned route, and if you do good work and are reliable, we will increase your pay according to the following schedule:
Length of Contract | 0 – 3 Months | 3 – 6 Months | 6 – 12 Months | After 1 Year | After 2 Years |
Pay Rate | 40% of Revenue | 45% of Revenue | 50% of Revenue | 55% of Revenue | 60% of Revenue |
Note: A full-time route is between 50 - 60 pools per week. It takes an average of 30 - 40 minutes to clean one (1) pool and get to your next stop, so a full-time route would take between 30 - 40 hours per week depending on how fast you work. All work is performed during daylight hours, Monday - Friday.
Example: With 50 Full Service pool cleaning accounts, this is how much money you would make per month:
Length of Contract | 0 - 3 Months | 3 - 6 Months | 6 - 12 Months | After 1 Year | After 2 Years |
Your Monthly Pay | $3,000.00 | $3,375.00 | $3,750.00 | $4,125.00 | $4,500.00 |
If you can handle more stops per week without compromising on quality, we will work with you to add more stops to your assigned route. This means you can make more money if you work harder and/or more efficiently.
We pay on the 20th of each month or the following business day. Your monthly payment is calculated by adding up the total revenue collected from your assigned route the previous month, and then multiplying it by the applicable pay rate (above). We send payment by direct deposit or check (your choice).
We're looking for people who want to work hard, be paid well, and earn more over time. If that describes you, apply today.
