An IT Implementation company that leverages deep industry knowledge and expertise in telecommunications, wireless, IT, video, and mobile networks to provide clients with a wide range of technology services, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team.
The individual in this role will oversee and coordinate telecom projects from start to finish. This role requires experience in order processing and technical coordination in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, field techs, and other departments.

What you'll be doing?
Project Coordination and Tracking: Achieve operational objectives by meticulously tracking projects from inception to completion, ensuring accurate information for billing.
Customer and Field Technician Interaction: Respond to inbound calls from customers, field technicians, and other staff. Coordinate site surveys, installations, and post-installation support, and follow through to project completion.
Order Processing and Documentation: Support customer requests to migrate POTs services to a VOIP service. Confirm site visits, order equipment, document all project costs, and follow up with clients.
Installation Management: Assign, schedule, and interact with Field Service Technicians, the Build Team, internal staff, and clients to ensure seamless installations.
Vendor Management: Schedule telephone numbering porting and turn-up of services, including managing vendors as needed.
Cost Management: Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving actions to meet cost standards.
Issue Resolution and Quality Standards: Document issues, resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends, and collaborate with the project management team to implement system improvements. Adhere to productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
Customer Relations: Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns and answering questions promptly.
Documentation and Organization: Organize projects, manage project files, and ensure accurate and detailed documentation.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on project management or a related field,
or equivalent related experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, with flexibility required to handle clients across the U.S.
and Canada, considering various time zones. Specific work schedules will be discussed.
Location:
Plainview, NY 11803. Hybrid position - remote and onsite as required by the business unit.
