Job Description

The mission of The University of Texas M. D. The primary purpose of the Research Assistant I position is to provide assistance in coordinating informatics and statistics-associated research projects; lead research projects under direct PI supervision and assist in patient screening for active clinical trials.

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and aggregating data for meta-analytic purposes in biomedical research.
• Utilizes statistical software to manage and interpret research data effectively.
• Records and evaluates data in line with requested methodologies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with study protocols.
• Assesses patient eligibility for clinical trials by reviewing clinical criteria and relevant patient information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education
Required: Bachelor's degree, major course work in one of the basic sciences.

Required: No experience.
