Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation – School
Shift: Day Shift (5x7.5-Hour, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Job Duration: 30 Weeks
Job Location: Elizabeth, CO 80107

Responsibilities:

• Conducting speech-language evaluations and assessments for students.
• Providing direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy techniques as necessary to ensure student success.
• Providing consultation and guidance to staff and families regarding speech and language development and needs.
• Documenting therapy sessions, assessments, and progress toward goals in compliance with school district and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Licensure:

• A current Colorado Speech Language Pathologist (CO SLP) license is required.
• If your Colorado Department of Education (CDE) application is pending, they may still consider interviewing you.

Experience:

• Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.

Certifications:

• ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is highly desirable.
