Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Bristol, Virginia is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
Interns will be exposed to all facets of the turfgrass management industry from agronomics to equipment management to professionalism and beyond.
Requirements:
Must currently be enrolled or planning to enroll in a Turfgrass Management program, certificate program, or related field at an accredited university.
Experience in the turf management field is preferred but not required.
Interns must have a desire and will to learn.
One must also have the ability to adapt to changes, be responsive to constructive criticism, have a sense of urgency and willingness to be a team player.
Compensation:
$16 per hour.
Housing.
Uniforms.
Overtime.
Lunch meals.
Hands on experience.
Working closely with other club department heads.
Working along side assistants and Superintendent.
Tournament Volunteer Experience.
Learn valuable experience managing bentgrass in the transition zone.
