Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Capital Region Physicians is looking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team in Jefferson City, MO. Join a Primary Care team dedicated to creating outstanding healthcare experiences - in an acute setting. Our Urgent Care facilities offer patients access to Better. Every Day. healthcare in three locations around Jefferson City.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills with strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physician's Assistant Qualifications 

  • Specialty certificate by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Nephrology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry.  
  • Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. 
  • Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

     

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

  • Possess a specialty certificate by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC).  
  • Master of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.  Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.  
  • Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Capital Region Medical Center is a full service health care system that encompasses a full service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinic system, a state of the art Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital based fitness facility, home health agency and the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in the community.
