Di An Di is a Vietnamese restaurant and bar with a focus on modern Vietnamese fare. Our name is an endearing Vietnamese phrase between friends and families that translates to “Let’s go eat.” Brought to you by first-generation Vietnamese Americans, featuring high-quality Vietnamese food that's rooted in tradition but served in a contemporary setting that looks and feels quintessentially New York. The interior is meant to reflect the food and the culture of the restaurant itself – inspired by its tropic origins. Located in Greenpoint, we aim to be a staple for our neighborhood and anyone craving fresh, wholesome, and “authentic” fare. Our mission is to share our passion for food and drink, offering amazing service and fun vibes to our guests.
We are seeking an experienced barback for a high-volume environment. This is a part-time position with the possibility of being full-time.
You would be expected to:
- Support the bartender with our beverage program
- Follow recipes and prepare juices, syrups, mixes, etc.
- Ability to left heavy items occasionally
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar
- Potential to expand in other FOH positions
Compensation $10/hr + tips (training $15/hr, no tips) at .7 in the tip pool per hour. At least 4 shifts a week, mostly Thur-Sun.
