Position Overview

As a Web Developer specializing in ecommerce you will be responsible for the endtoend development and management of our online platform. From coding and design to troubleshooting and optimization you will play a critical role in ensuring a superior digital shopping experience for our customers.

This role requires an innovative thinker with a deep understanding of ecommerce systems frontend and backend development and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

ECommerce Platform Development

• Design develop and maintain a highperformance ecommerce platform using industrystandard tools and technologies.
• Build responsive userfriendly web interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
• Integrate payment gateways shopping carts and inventory management systems to support secure and efficient transactions.
• Develop and maintain APIs for thirdparty integrations including shipping marketing and CRM systems.

Website Management

• Regularly update and maintain the websites content features and functionality.
• Optimize website performance by addressing page load speed mobile responsiveness and overall efficiency.
• Ensure website security by implementing best practices for data protection encryption and secure coding.

Troubleshooting and Support

• Monitor and resolve website issues including bugs server errors and downtime.
• Provide technical support for internal stakeholders and customers addressing any platformrelated concerns.
• Stay proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing preventive measures.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Implement SEO best practices to improve the platforms search visibility and ranking.
• Optimize product pages metadata and site structure for enhanced discoverability.

Collaboration and Strategy

• Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align website functionality with business objectives.
• Collaborate on design and branding to ensure consistency with the Nebulon Dynamics brand identity.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve user experience and drive online sales.

Data Analytics and Reporting

• Set up and manage analytics tools to monitor website traffic user behavior and sales performance.
• Generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in web development languages including HTML CSS JavaScript and PHP.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms like Shopify WooCommerce Magento or BigCommerce.
• Strong understanding of frontend frameworks (e.g. React Angular Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g. Node.js Python Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with database systems (MySQL PostgreSQL) and version control tools (Git).
• Experience integrating thirdparty APIs and plugins for ecommerce functionalities.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe XD.

ECommerce Expertise

• Proven experience developing and managing ecommerce websites.
• Familiarity with inventory management payment processing and shipping integrations.
• Understanding of digital marketing tools including Google Analytics Google Ads and social media platforms.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Web Developer with a focus on ecommerce preferred.
• A track record of successfully launching and managing ecommerce projects.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications in web development or ecommerce platforms are a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
